With more and more parents working outside the home, the number of U.S. children in child care has grown. Children in child care are sick more often with colds and other illnesses – and many child care policies exclude sick kids from attending until they are well.
How do working parents manage when kids are too sick for child care? To find out, we asked parents of young children in child care about their experiences and concerns with child illness and how it has impacted their work.
