Parents face an important decision when it comes to choosing a doctor to care for their children. There are many factors to consider: from the doctor’s training and experience to insurance coverage and office location. But where do parents turn for information to help them make this choice?

To get a better sense of how parents choose a doctor for their children, we asked adults across the country about what factors are most important to them and where they go to find information.

The results of this Poll will be released next week. Sign up for our e-mail list to have the full report sent straight to your inbox! You can also watch NPCH Director Dr. Matt Davis on Local 4 WDIV Detroit at 6:15 a.m. on Monday February 18, where he’ll discuss the results of this Poll on air with Guy Gordon and Rhonda Walker.

Great read. It seems quite common for parents to request additional information from their candidates. It never hurts to know a bit more  about your doctor's education background.
