Teens raising their hand in class

Health education is required for most middle and high school students in the United States, but the content varies from state to state, and even from district to district. Typically, health education classes include general wellness topics like nutrition and physical activity--but are kids missing out on other important health topics?

We asked parents of children in middle or high school about what health topics should be covered by schools.  The results of this new National Poll on Children’s Health will be published next week. Sign up for our email list to make sure you get the report as soon as it’s available.
